New layout: version 5! Let's go underground. I wanted a new layout for a lil' while now.. but I still liked the Amsterdam version and I couldn't find a picture that I would make the new one with. Until a few days ago, I found this supa HOT photoshoot with Naomi Campbell by Mario Sorrenti and styled by Jane How. I adore the clothes she wears, some from Vikter&Rolf which y'all have to know.. they're Dutch but worldwide. Also the locations are really my way.. On the streets, in Tubes and in Tube stations. Places where I (and I'm sure you all too!) come everyday. But a place where I also get inspired by. There are moments where these places are a total Chaos! This diversity of people! I love it! A few hours later you only see a rained-newspaper and a milkshakecup rollin around.. cause everything else; the people, are gone..which can be magical too... the silence of the city after the chaos.

Another underground thing, or actually things, I find in music and parties. Ofcourse I see, do , like things that others do to.. but I prefer to Not go with the crowd, well... the Massa-crowd let's say. Hmm and that's not only it, the things that are offered for everyday/allday people, just don't catch my heart. I'm more like the floating type, the type of person who want's to look deeper in life than working from 9-5, and who is only thinking about education/carreer/house-man-kids. Ofcourse! I also want this! But I also want more than that!. And this doesn't necessaraly need to be big things.. but also small things. Just look deeper/different to everyday things. At my previous school we called that "Looking sideways" I loved that quote.

Oh btw.. before I forget! the Stickerwall on the upperpicture, was photographed by myself in Eindhoven I added it in the picture and I must say.. it looks kinda real. Also the picture at the left bottom, which say's: Centrum Stationshal was photographed by myself at Amsterdam Central Station. I love photography too, and I want to do more with it.. check out my flickr. I must say that I got loads of new pictures.. but I got over my uploadlimit this month, and don't want to pay for such an account.. lol.. so keep checkin.. ! Today I went to the vet with my cat Dushi. I felt heartbroken after I left her there.. cause she had to get sterilised. She had 4 kittens 9 months ago (which we'll prolly keep 3 off ^^) and my mom is scared she'll get preggy again. Which would be sad for her..cause then we have to give all these kittens away .. So .. I brought her at 8:45 am and picked her up at 3 pm .. she was acting blurry.. and I was afraid she'd be mad at me.. but luckely she wasn't. She's laying next to me now .. she gone be aight..

Oh yeah btw.. about my previous blog entry: the non-smoking law.. it is still there.. but Oh majjn How do I love the fact that I love Reggae&Dancehall music .. AND dem parties! Because almost all the places where I go, you can still smoke ur splifs..and at some even sigs.. ^^ .. I was gettin Extra in di zone ! Bless Jamaica! Bless Amsterdam! It's the culture mann.. .. Oh yeah and Babylon (Police) gave me a fine for calling in my car! DUDE I couldn't find my way!! besides I was busy with driving to a parking place >> to call! ..cause I was trippin already myself..I have to pay dem 150 euro's AND they took 1 out of 3 points of my drivers liscence .. when they got 3 ..they will take it .. Babylon!

Tomorro July 1st 2008 , it isn't allowed anymore to smoke in restaurants, bars, clubs and coffeeshops (wtf!?). A new law .. hated by 80% of Dutch population. I can understand the restaurant part.. but bars,clubs and coffeeshops? wtf is that about? The goverment should've let us vote! then they would see that 80% of Holland is against this eediat law. I mean we are talking about The Netherlands here.. THE Free country.. where it is allowed to smoke splifs (which is still legal ... *sigh*^^) So now what's going to happen? I've seen in in London last april.. where I stayed for 5 days.. there the law was already in progress. In the club it was smelly/sweaty and shh (normaly faded by smoke) it just looked weird.. a club without a single cloud of smoke. In some clubs I heard (in Holland) there will be smoking areas but what is going to happen then: people are standin in line to light up a fucking cigarette??? people are gone husstle as a mthrfckr..because the staff (including security) isn't allowed to work in *smoke* (cause this is what the whole law is ABOUT) peeps are gone get beef.. because errbody is annoyed because they don't have proper space to 'just smoke a cigarette' .. it will only cause more trouble .. and what to think about those old men.. who are chillin in their 'home'pubs/bars with their beers and cigs? it's their life man! You can't take that from em.. Oh and there is another problem: terrance warming thingies.. which will be bad for the environment .. :::more trouble ..

I'm wondering what will happen to coffeeshops, which is all about smoking ofcourse. I think they are going to arrange something for that.. Some people (including some friends of mine) think it isn't going to work.. they think the population will be going mad.. but I'm not sure ...

Last saturday I went to Jamrock XXL at Zaandam. The biggest Dancehall/Reggae party in Holland (they also say from Europe, but I'm not sure of that) DJ's Waxfiend, Jah & MBA, and even Black Chiney did his thing!
At this party.. especially in Holland.. it is normal .. culture to smoke splifs! I love to dance in a crowd with good music and my splif! and this saturday was the last time we where able to party like this :'(
(I will post a picture once I'll found it online..and mayby I will find a video too) I'm really going to miss this way of clubbin.. and that saturday ..around 4 pm.. It came to my mind that my children.. will never.. never party the way we did.. a weird thought.
