VERSION05 : LET'S Go UNDERGRoUND



I found this supa HOT photoshoot with Naomi Campbell by Mario Sorrenti and styled by Jane How. I adore the clothes she wears, some from Vikter&Rolf which y'all have to know.. they're Dutch but worldwide. Also the locations are really my way.. On the streets, in Tubes and in Tube stations. Places where I (and I'm sure you all too!) come everyday. But a place where I also get inspired by. the Stickerwall on the upperpicture, was photographed by myself in Eindhoven I added it in the picture and I must say.. it looks kinda real. Also the picture at the left bottom, which say's: Centrum Stationshal was photographed by myself at Amsterdam Central Station.

VERSION04 : AMSTERDAM



While I was scrolling through my pictures, and looking for pictures which I wanted to use for the layout, I selected a few, and came to the idea to make one representing Amsterdam, the beautifull capital city of The Netherlands, where I live. The main picture of the guy standing in the "bed"room, reminds me of Amsterdam because it shows the exact way how my best friend is living, near Amstel Station.. In Amsterdam. I sleep there like 50% of the week, so I kinda live that way too, lol. The picture on the upper right show's whut's out general club Jimmy Woo looks like, and we have a picture of Amsterdam's Subway. We also see a sign of one of the Coffeeshops in Amsterdam which we can't forget when talking bout it.

VERSION03 : ZEBRA CONTRAST



The first blog entry in this layout was all about contrast, how much interest and love I got for contrast, and how special and important it is for me. & I do love black&white contrast a lot. As you know the pattern of a zebra is all about black&white & contrast. I wanted to make a layout with it and also found the model picture on my computer. I wasn't planning to make it sooooo girly though, I'm not a big pink lover at all! but it just turned out this way and I liked it. This layout is very active. It also includes a M.A.C lipstick, I love their lipsticks and this one has a zebra pattern on it! No need to explain further..: my name is written all over it!

VERSION02 : O CITY



I totaly felt in love with this picture of female singer: M.I.A. made by Mike Schreiber. And I've been playing with it a while, first made another layout but didn't really liked it to put it online. But still I wanted to make a layout with it so I started from scratch again. I always had something with citynightscenery, the contrast of the lights behind the window's and the shapes of the buildings towards the sun. I found a picture of an old, one of the or "the" first Nintendo. I remember me playing with it, and I really like it now cos it's so "oldskool" now which totaly fits with the boombox. The boombox itself is love too. The telephone is photographed by Dave Beckerman, I added a lyric from Erykah Bady next to it, which is called "Telephone" and is written for rapper and producer J Dilla (R.I.P.). Then the color theme.. yeah what can I say, I still love gray/color combinations.

VERSION01 : CLASSHOP



I wanted something simple and neat for the first version. A "clean" start with my new domain. The name: ClassHop comes from a combination of Classic and Hiphop. Two things that inspire me, and two things that I really like to combine. Plus I just so so like the word ClassHop. I've searched all over to find the picture of the model back so I could give the photographer his/her credits, but I failed in finding it. The other pictures are made by Mike Schreider.
